“The site isn’t pink. There are no love hearts scattered on the homepage. This is not a dating site,” says Berkowski. “It’s just a place where people can meet, become friends and socialise.”
Woomee.com is unqique beacuse it is more than the standard speed dating sevice. This will ultimately determine their success. With people able to communicate easier on the web I think other webcam to webcam potentials are out there. How about being able to meet with a tutor online for homework. Now you wouldn’t need to leave your dorm to get help and they could be available at any hour of the day, (for the engineers like Janam) ha ha. Also what about taking webcam and using them to blog instead of write. People could just click on a ‘reply’ and leave their video message. It would be more personal and people could really focus on what the person is saying rather than reading it. It might be kind of cool!
